The Mi 11 Lite 5G is the latest smartphone in the line of Mi smartphones. It comes pre-installed with several useful features like Android 4.3, an amazing dual cameras, a neat notification centre, a fantastic text-to-speech engine, and a nice feature called Draw Friends. However, it doesn’t even come close to being perfect!
In my opinion the one thing that disappointed me the most about this phone was the fact that it didn’t come with a high-end device. The phone shares many of its features with the larger Mi 11 Lite 5G just save for the extra processor. So you got a 6.55 inch FHD+ LCD/ TN screen with a 1080p resolution, Dolby Vision, and dual cameras. There’s also a centered hit bar that houses a twenty-six MP camera and it has a neat ambient light sensor.
If I had to choose one thing I would have to say that the one missing part from the Mi 11 Lite 5G’s killer feature set is the ability to take quality mi 11 lite 5g pictures. The camera on the Mi 11 Lite doesn’t get the job done for what it claims to do, which is taking high definition pictures. So what do I think are the shortcomings of the phone?
The biggest shortcoming of the Mi 11 Lite 5G’s camera is that it is unable to unlock your fingerprint. This was actually my biggest problem with this phone before I decided to buy it because I’m not used to having fingerprints on my phones. When I tried to use the fingerprint scanner on the Mi 11 Lite, I instantly had trouble getting it to unlock without a finger print. It seemed like the lock wasn’t going to unlock no matter how hard I pressed on it.
Then I saw something about the Mi 11 Lite’s internals that really made a difference. One feature that Apple seems to have left out when designing the Mi 11 Lite is an external battery. While the phone had a built in Quick Charge port, it did not have an external battery. What a let down this was, because the iPhone’s battery life is much better. With all the other features and extras of the iPhone, I would have definitely had an external battery for this phone.
The final negative thing about the Mi 11 Lite is that the phone runs really slow. The screen is small and you can easily see the difference in quality. Compared to the iPhone, the battery life is not very long. I also found that it rambled when I ran certain tasks such as streaming music and videos. The phone does work well for internet browsing but don’t expect it to take on the tasks of a high-end tablet like an iPad.
